Title simply implies the name that your blog readers will see at the uppermost side of your blog whenever they sign in to your blog. For example, if your blog's name/address is (www.utmostbloggers.com), or (www.utmostbloggers.blogspot.com) you can choose your 'Title' to be (Utmostbloggers). After editing it to your choice you save. Now view the marked image below and see how it will appear on your blog;
- Next is Description. Description simply means the 'words' that will tell your readers what the blog represents. Here, click on the 'Edit' and set it to your choice. For instance, if your blog is about news, you will enter description like these; (News, Politics, Business, Beauty, Lifestyle, Fashion, etc.). Make sure you always separate it with comma. Also if your blog is about academics, you can apply or arrange your blog's description as follows; (Humanities, Science, Social Science, Agriculture, etc.). Also if your blog is about blogging, you can enter your description like these; (Blogging, Tactics, Strategies, Techniques etc.). Then after your entry save it. Now view the marked image below and see how it will appear on your blog;
- After the 'Description' below you will find Privacy. Privacy here, simply implies the visibility of your blog on search engine. How your blog will be visible and accessible on web. Now click on the 'Edit' and set it. Mind you whatever mistake you make here will affect your blog's visibility on search engine. Now click on 'Edit'. When you click on 'Edit' you will see two options; one is 'Add your blog to our listings?', here just click 'Yes'. The other option is 'Let search engines find your blog?', here also select 'Yes' and hit at 'Save changes' so as to save your selections.
- Below 'Privacy' is publishing aspect where you will find Blog Address. Here, if you have not purchased custom domain, you are liable to make changes if you don't like the name (URL) you are currently using on the blog. When you click on 'Edit' you enter any name (URL) you want depending if you don't prefer the existing one. But if you prefer the existing URL, you can leave it unchanged and untouched. For example, if the existing URL is (utmostbloggers.blogspot.com) and you want to change it to (naijabloggers.blogspot.com) you are free.
...Another one, if you are still using blogspot.com subdomain, don't click on '+ set up a third-party URL for your blog', unless you have purchased custom domain, then you can click on it and set it. But if you have not, leave it.
- Next is HTTPS redirect under HTTPS. Here, if 'HTTPS' is turned on, the visitors to your blog for example will always go to (https://utmostbloggers.blogspot.com). But if 'HTTPS' redirect is turned off for example, visitors to (http://utmostbloggers.blogspot.com) will be served over 'HTTP', an unencrypted connection. And visitors to (https://utmostbloggers.blogspot.com) will be served over 'HTTPS', an encrypted connection. Don't be confused here, because whichever one you select is normal.
- Next is Blog Authors under 'Permissions'. Here, you will see yourself as the 'Admin'. Then below you, you will see '+Add Authors'. Here, if you wish to add another person to be managing your blog, you are free to do so by clicking on '+Add Authors', but if you still want to operate your blog alone don't add anyone.
- Next is 'Blog Readers'. Here, you have the capacity to decide who will view your blog, whether public or private. Just click on 'Edit' and make your choice.
